- Scope
- This part specifies the method for realizing the calibration conditions of radiation protection instruments in the neutron field generated by the neutron source given in GB/T 14055.1-2008, with special emphasis on the correction of external influences (such as: the scattering from the calibration laboratory wall) neutron correction). Due to the wide application of radionuclide neutron sources, this part focuses on the calibration of radionuclide neutron sources (Chapter 4 to Chapter 6), and only briefly explains the calibration of accelerators and reactors (8.2 and 8.3) . ISO 8529-3 gives general rules and methods for conversion factors and calibration.
