Scope

This standard specifies the gel permeation chromatography method for determining the relative molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of polyethylene (except high-pressure low-density polyethylene). This standard is applicable to the determination of relative molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of polyethylene (except high-pressure low-density polyethylene) dissolved in 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene at 140°C.
