- Safety warning: Fire extinguishing tests may cause harm to people and property, so protective measures should be taken; metallic sodium used for testing should be strictly prohibited from contact with water. Appropriate measures should be taken when handling and placing, and direct contact with skin is strictly prohibited. This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of Class D dry powder fire extinguishing agents. This standard applies to dry powder fire extinguishing agents that can extinguish Class D fires.
