Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instruction manuals, packaging, transportation and storage of portable brush cutters and lawn mowers powered by gasoline engines. This standard applies to portable brush cutters and lawn mowers powered by gasoline engines. Other brush cutters and lawn mowers powered by internal combustion engines can also be used as a reference.
