Scope
Warning: This product is not a flammable dangerous product, but it is irritating to eyes and skin. Once in contact, it should be washed with water immediately; this product has a corrosive effect on paint. Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of non-petroleum-based brake fluids used in motor vehicle hydraulic brake and hydraulic clutch systems. This standard applies to motor vehicle brake fluids that are in contact with seals made of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM), and that use non-petroleum-based raw materials as the base fluid and add various additives. This standard does not apply to motor vehicle brake fluids used in polar environmental conditions.
