- This standard specifies the general technical requirements for quality inspection of antibacterial agent susceptibility disks. Includes terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, labels and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage. Antibacterial agents refer to antibiotics and chemically synthesized antibacterial drugs. This standard applies to antimicrobial susceptibility paper sheets (hereinafter referred to as susceptibility paper sheets) used in medical laboratories for drug susceptibility testing by the paper diffusion method.
