- The test method specified in this part of YY/T 0681 specifies the method for the flexible packaging to be placed in the restraint plate and internally pressurized to test the minimum bursting strength of the peripheral seal. This test is only applicable to peripherally sealed flexible packaging (usually referred to as combination bags). Particularly suitable for packages whose seals have peelable features that can be peeled off by the end user to remove the contents. Users of this method are advised to pay special attention to the fact that restraint plate fixtures may need to be designed and fabricated.
