- The test method specified in this part of YY/T 0681 is used to determine the penetration of airborne bacteria into breathable materials used for packaging of sterile medical devices. The test method is designed to test the material under conditions where bacterial spores can penetrate the test material. Conduct tests to facilitate grading of materials. This test method requires the manipulation of microorganisms and can only be performed by trained personnel.
