- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, symbols, general requirements, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of slowly bonded prestressed steel strands. This standard applies to ribbed slowly bonded prestressed steel strands used in post-tensioned prestressed concrete structures and ribless slowly bonded prestressed steel strands for external prestressing.
