Scope

This standard specifies the basic tests for verifying the stability of reach (mast or fork retractable) forklifts and forklifts. This standard applies to reach and leg forklifts with a tiltable or non-tiltable mast or forks, with a rated lifting capacity of up to 5000kg, and ride-on or walk-on operation. Forklift with load handling attachment. This standard does not apply to forklifts handling suspended loads that can swing freely.
