This standard specifies the high-frequency combustion infrared absorption method for the determination of carbon and sulfur content in iron ore. This standard applies to the determination of carbon and sulfur content in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, sinter, pellets and their products. Measuring range (mass fraction): carbon 0.01% to 2.5%, sulfur 0.001% to 2.0%.
