Scope

This standard specifies the basic contents, assumptions and application criteria for accident analysis of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard applies to accident analysis of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard does not apply to the analysis of the maximum credible accident (maximum hypothetical accident) used only for safety evaluation in plant site selection.
