Scope

This part specifies the design criteria for core fuel-related components in the design of reactor systems for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This section is applicable to the design of beam-type fuel-related components of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. The design of fuel-related components of other types of reactors can be implemented with reference.
