Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, order form (or contract) content of calcined alpha alumina products. This standard applies to aluminum hydroxide or alumina as raw material, calcined at an appropriate temperature into α-type alumina products with stable crystal form. Mainly used to make refractory materials, alumina ceramics, polishing abrasives and other products.
