- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic type, main dimensions, parameters, requirements, inspection regulations, inspection methods, instruments, meters, packaging and storage, etc. of mechanical seals for automobile engine cooling water pumps (hereinafter referred to as automobile water seals). This standard is applicable to automobile water seals with a medium pressure not greater than 0.3 MPa, a temperature of -35°C to 135°C, a shaft diameter not greater than 20mm, a rotational speed not greater than 9 000 r/min, and the working medium being clean water or automobile coolant.
