- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical conditions, inspection rules, test methods, marking, packaging, storage, transportation and other requirements for X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (hereinafter referred to as spectrometer). This standard applies to spectrometers including sequential and multi-channel simultaneous wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers with elemental analysis ranges from sodium (Na) to uranium (U) and element content analysis ranges from 10% to 99.99%.
