Scope

This standard specifies a method for evaluating the mois urizing efficacy of cosmetics - the capacitance method to measure the mois ure content of the stratum corneum of the skin. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mois urizing effect of skin care creams, lotions and gel cosmetics. Other cosmetics claiming mois urizing effects can refer to this standard for evaluation.
