Scope

This standard specifies the structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of conveyor belt roller friction testing machines (hereinafter referred to as testing machines). This standard applies to conveyor belt drum friction testing machines that determine the flame retardancy of conveyor belts by rubbing conveyor belt samples on the drum.
