Scope

This standard specifies planar, non-concentrating terrestrial crystalline solar cells, terrestrial crystalline solar modules, or terrestrial solar arrays consisting of one type of crystalline solar cell module for the purpose of power generation. The method for determining the equivalent cell temperature of a solar cell (hereinafter referred to as a solar cell) from the open circuit voltage of the solar cell is specified.
