Scope: This standard specifies the method for the preparation of composite test pieces of polyethylene (PE) pipes or spigot fittings and electrofusion fittings (for example: socket fittings such as sleeves, or saddle fittings). This standard specifies the guidelines for the preparation of combined test pieces, including parameters such as ambient temperature, welding conditions, dimensions of pipes and fittings, pipe shapes, etc., and takes into account the restrictions on use conditions in relevant product standards.
