Scope

This standard specifies the minimum requirements for viewing lamps for viewing industrial radiography negatives. The function of the film viewer depends on the observation of radiographic negatives. The film viewing lamp should ensure personal safety and be consistent with the requirements of the current national electrical safety standards for the maximum voltage, insulation and grounding of electrical devices.
