Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of food additive sorghum red. This standard is applicable to the powder products obtained from black-purple or reddish-brown sorghum (Sorghum vulgare Pers) husks, extracted with water or dilute ethanol aqueous solution, concentrated and dried. Used as a coloring agent in the food industry.
