Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of food additive sucrose fatty acid ester (propylene glycol method). This standard is applicable to the food additive sucrose fatty acid ester synthesized by the reaction of sucrose and fatty acid ethyl ester in propylene glycol as solvent. The product is mainly used as an emulsifier, fruit fresh-keeping agent, sugar cooking aid, etc. in the food processing industry. Molecular formula: C30O12H56 (based on sucrose monostearic acid) Relative molecular mass: 600.76 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2001)
