- This standard specifies the basic requirements for the hydrostatic test methods and test devices for gas cylinders. This standard is applicable to the hydrostatic test of steel seamless gas cylinders, welded gas cylinders, aluminum alloy seamless gas cylinders and wound gas cylinders. This standard does not apply to non-refillable steel cylinders and gas cylinders filled with solid fillers for industrial use.
