Scope
This standard specifies the procedures for confirming the weight loss and residual quantity by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), and establishes the analysis method based on the weight loss and residual quantity test. This standard is applicable to confirm the performance parameters of the thermogravimetric analyzer, including the repeatability (precision) of weight loss and residual quantity, detection limit, limit of quantitation, linearity and deviation, technical specification and regulatory compliance. This standard does not cover all safety issues related to its use. Before using this standard method, it is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health practices and confirm the applicability of the specifications.
