- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the implementation of geometric deformation detection and metal loss detection of steel pipelines. Provisions are made for the testing cycle, scope of application of the detector, testing preparation, testing program control, testing report content and acceptance method. This standard is applicable to the internal detection of onshore steel pipelines where the transport medium is gas and liquid, and the internal detection of submarine steel pipelines where the transport medium is gas and liquid can refer to this standard.
