Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus (bovine herpesvirus type I, BoHV-1) real-time fluorescent PCR detection method. This standard is applicable to the rapid detection of BoHV-1 virus infection in samples such as bovine blood samples, swabs, semen, animal tissues (mucosa, liver, spleen, kidney, lymph nodes, placenta tissues, etc.) and cell cultures.
