Scope: This standard specifies the method for determining the content of low molecular weight components of polymers using gel permeation chromatography (gelpermeationchromatography, GPC). This standard applies to the determination of the content of low molecular weight components of polymers. Due to the variety of polymer materials, the low molecular weight substances contained are also different. Some polymers are not suitable for the determination of low molecular weight content by gel chromatography due to their special and complex structures. Other methods can be used for determination.
