Scope: This standard specifies the classification principles, classification and codes of waste products. This standard applies to waste products generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China. This standard does not include the classification of the following waste products that need to be regulated by other laws and regulations: ——radioactive substances; ——waste generated from prospecting, extraction, processing and storage of ores and quarries; ——animal carcasses, agricultural waste , such as waste and other natural, harmless substances used on farms; - scrapped explosives; - cultural relics; - medical drugs; - hazardous waste; - others.
