Scope
Bird eggs have proved to be a suitable matrix for the bioindication of environmental chemicals in terrestrial, limnic and marine habitats and currently play a central role in the following application areas. In addition to other parameters (see Section 2), the application area is an important criterion for the selection of suitable bird species.
