- This standard stipulates the only rounding value of the priority number that is allowed to be used, which is divided into two rounding value series by the large and small of the correction amount. This International Standard describes the conditions under which these rounded values are applied and the results adopted. This standard gives the rules for the correct choice between the preferred number and various rounded values. This standard is applicable when considering the actual situation and the priority number cannot be used. It is a supplementary guidance to ISO 17 on the selection of number systems and the application conditions of rounded values.
