- This standard stipulates the method for ultrasonic inspection and determination of steam turbine blades (blade body and blade root) using the A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic flaw detector and the single-probe contact method during maintenance of steam turbine units in service. This standard applies to ultrasonic inspection of the blade body and blade root of steam turbine blades.
