Scope

This standard covers the welding position adaptability (hereinafter referred to as JIS) required by the Japanese Industrial Standards (hereinafter referred to as JIS) for carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, nickel and nickel alloy arc welding materials (coated arc welding rods and welding wire). Specifies test methods for evaluating positional capacity and root penetration.
