Scope: This standard specifies the model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of spark testing machines. This standard is applicable to the AC spark testing machine and DC spark testing machine with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, which are used for on-line testing in special experimental equipment for wires and cables. This standard does not apply to pulse spark testers, high frequency spark testers, spark leak detectors and spark testers for other purposes.
