Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of double-beam UV-visible spectrophotometers. This standard applies to dual-beam UV-Vis spectrophotometers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") with an independent reference beam and an independent reference sample cell, the main spectral region is 200nm to 900nm, and the wavelength is continuously adjustable. A double-beam spectrophotometer can also be used for reference.
