Scope

This part of GB/T 17564 provides a solid basis for clearly and unambiguously defining the characteristic characteristics (data element types) of all components used in electrical technical systems, including basic components, components and complete systems. Although the original idea was to provide a basis for the exchange of information on electronic/electrical components, the definition principles and methods given in this section can also be used for the definition of component assemblies and electrotechnical systems and subsystems. This section gives the classification hierarchy and sets the applicable properties and related properties in the classes of this hierarchy in order to fully describe the characteristics of the objects belonging to the classes. This standard applies to the exchange of data describing electrotechnical systems in a defined structure in a computer-readable form. Each property that is exchanged shall have an unambiguous meaning and a name consistent with the meaning, as well as a defined list of values associated with the property, specifying the format and unit of measure for the property for all quantitative values. There are also provisions for: managing changes to the definition of a property by version number and revision number; containing notes and remarks that clarify and help apply the definition; specifying the source of the definition and list of values; associated figures and formulas. Note: This part of GB/T 17564 is intended to be compatible with the upcoming third edition of GB/T 17564.2 and the second edition of GB/T 17645.
