- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, codes, product representation methods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection items, inspection rules, marking and packaging of special polyimide film-wrapped copper round wires for submersible motors. This standard is applicable to wrapped wires for H-class and below submersible motors and similar oil-filled special motors. It is also applicable to wrapped wires for insulated cores of submersible oil pump cables.
