EN ISO 17402:2011 Soil quality - Requirements and guidance for the selection and application of methods for the assessment of bioavailability of contaminants in soil and soil materials (ISO 17402:2008)
This International Standard provides guidance for the selection and application of methods to assessbioavailability for the characterisation of contaminated soil and soil materials. This International Standard doesnot give a selection of the best applicable methods, but specifies boundary conditions and principles ofmethods to be used and gives the minimal requirements for the development of methods. The resultsobtained from such methods can be used as an estimate of bioavailability in a risk-assessment approach.
