Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and materials, instruments and utensils, operating procedures, calculation and presentation of results, and repeatability requirements for the determination of sand content in flour grains. This standard is applicable to the determination of the sand content of flour grains other than sesame powder which can co-precipitate with sand dust.
