JIS K 0311:2005 Method for determination of tetra-through octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxins, tetra-through octachlorodibenzofurans and dioxin-like polychlorinatedbiphenyls in stationary source emissions
This standard specifies that tetra to octachlorodibenzoparadioxin, tetra to octachlorodibenzofuran, and dioxin-like ( This article specifies the method for measuring PCBs (hereinafter referred to as dioxins) using a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (hereinafter referred to as GU/MS). The GC/MS used here uses a capillary column as the gas chromatograph (GC) column, and a dual-harvest Toga mass spectrometer (MS) device with a resolution of 10 000 or higher. The detection limits for GC/MS in this standard vary depending on the equipment and measurement conditions, but are 0.1 pg for tetrachlorides and pentachlorides, 0.2 pg for hexachlorides and heptachlorides, and 0.5 pg for octachlorides. Dioxin-like PCBs are less than 0.2 pg.
