Scope

This section applies to digital recorders (including digital oscilloscopes), analog oscilloscopes and peak voltmeters for measurement in impulse high voltage and impulse current tests. This part specifies the measurement performance and calibration required to meet the measurement uncertainty and procedures in GB/T 16927.2. This standard includes: - definitions of special terms related to digital recorders, analog oscilloscopes and peak voltmeters; - requirements necessary for these instruments to ensure that they meet the requirements of high voltage and high current impulse tests; - compliance with these Required tests and procedures are required. This standard only deals with digital recorders that can access raw data from long-term or temporary memory. These raw data, together with relevant scale factors and other information, can be: - printed or plotted; - stored in digital form.
