Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of pure iron powder and alloy steel powder (pre-alloyed steel powder, diffusion alloy steel powder) atomized with water for powder metallurgy. This standard applies to pure iron powder and alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy produced by water atomization method.
