- This standard stipulates the principles for site selection of new generation weather radars, preliminary site selection preparations, on-site surveys of candidate sites, determination of preferred site sites, and submis ion of site selection work reports for approval. This standard is applicable to the site selection work of the new generation of weather radars that are uniformly dis ributed in my country. The site selection work of the new generation of weather radars at local and industrial levels can be implemented as a reference.
