Scope

This standard specifies the graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of barium in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of soluble barium and total barium in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater and domestic sewage. When the injection volume is 20.0μl, the detection limit of this method is 2.5μg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 10.0μg/ L.
