- This standard is formulated in order to ensure the quality of the anticorrosion insulation layer of buried steel pipelines, prolong the service life and improve economic benefits. This standard is applicable to the design, prefabrication and construction acceptance of the outer wall anti-corrosion and insulation layers of buried steel pipelines whose temperature of the conveying medium does not exceed 120°C. In addition to this standard, the design, prefabrication, construction and acceptance of the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation layer of buried steel pipelines shall also comply with the current relevant national standards.
