- Warning: Some of the reagents used in this test method are corrosive. Care must be taken during operation to avoid inhalation of their vapors or skin contact! If it splashes on the skin, rinse it with water immediately. If serious, it should be treated immediately. This standard specifies the method for the determination of Pb, Cd, Cr, and As in cork stoppers of food contact materials by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This standard is applicable to the determination of Pb, Cd, Cr and As in cork stoppers of food contact materials. The corresponding detection limits are: Pb, 24.0μg/kg; Cd, 0.6μg/kg; Cr, 35.0μg/kg; As,1.0μｇ/kg.
