Scope

This standard specifies a screening method for the determination of organotin in polymer parts of electronic and electrical products by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This section is applicable to the screening of organotin in polymer components of electronic and electrical products. The lower limit of determination of organotin (measured as tin) is 0.5 mg/kg.
