Scope

This standard specifies the main steps and requirements for the turbulent plate test of arc heaters for missile heat-resistant materials. This standard is applicable to the free-jet test on the surface of the flat or nearly flat heat-resistant material specimens carried out on the arc heater. The thermal protection test of flat specimens with local unevenness or gaps can be carried out by reference.
