- This standard stipulates the coding principles of national railway line name codes (line numbers), and compiles the line name codes of national railway main lines (temporarily absent in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). This standard applies to information processing and exchange related to railway line name codes such as surveying and mapping, land resource management, and railway infrastructure management; it does not apply to fields with different rules, such as information processing and exchange related to railway transportation operations.
