- Scope
- This standard specifies the principles, specifications, test procedures, result calculations and test reports for void content testing of fiber-reinforced plastics. This standard is applicable to the determination of void content of glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Aramid fiber reinforced materials can be used as a reference. But it is not suitable for the determination of void content of fiber reinforced materials with fillers.
